Presented paper introduces an approach based on usage of role patterns and modelling by the use of fuzzy logic tool for selection process with limitation to the area of IT projects environment. The article shows a concept of role patterns structures and their further usage in process of forming a fuzzy model dedicated to candidate assessment process support
