The research focuses on testing the behaviour of the reinforced concrete columns compressed at a variable eccentricity. The fact of possible variable eccentricity in compressed columns is not considered in the current calculation procedures. The objective of the research was to examine whether indeed the load history has no impact and whether the reinforced concrete columns compressed at eccentric of variable sign could be analysed in the same manner as if loaded for the first time. The research in this article may have practical application.
