Renowacja systemu drenażowego zapory w Żurze

Przedstawiono problemy związane z kształtowaniem się filtracji w zaporze ziemnej Żur oraz przyjęte rozwiązanie, mające na celu obniżenie ciśnień filtracyjnych w korpusie i podłożu zapory. Omówiono zrealizowany wariant odwodnienia, polegający na wykonaniu szeregu studni wierconych w podstawie skarpy odpowietrznej. Wyniki obserwacji piezometrycznych wskazują na osiągnięcie zamierzonego celu.

W artykule przedstawiono zalety nowoczesnej technologii zagęszczania dynamicznego. Jest to zupełna technologia renowacji zniszczonych wałów przeciwpowodziowych, które staną się stabilne i służyć będą społeczeństwu przez długie lata w warunkach zmiennych stanów wód.

W pracy omówiono warunki wytwarzania glikolizatów podczas transestyfikacji mieszanin poliuretanowych przy zastosowaniu małoczasteczkowych glikoli. Zbdano właściwości reologiczne takich glikolozatów stosując reometr płytka/stożek. Wyznaczono krzywe płynięcia oraz dobrano optymalny model reologiczny.

This report presents an overview of the data mining contestorganized in conjunction with the 19th International Symposiumon Methodologies for Intelligent Systems (ISMIS 2011), in days betweenJan 10 and Mar 21, 2011, on TunedIT competition platform. The contestconsisted of two independent tasks, both related to music information retrieval:recognition of music genres and recognition of instruments, for agiven music sample represented by a number of pre-extracted features.In this report, we describe aim of the contest, tasks formulation, procedures of data generation and parametrization, as well as final results of the competition.

W referacie przedstawiono założenia i realizację repozytorium nagrań testowych dla potrzeb oceny algorytmów analizy obrazu. Celem wykonanej pracy jest zgromadzenie materiałów audiowizualnych zawierających różne rodzaje zachowań tłumu wraz z opisem służących do weryfikacji algorytmów analizy obrazu. Omówiono szczegółowo treść nagrań wprowadzonych do repozytorium, wśród których wyróżnić można zachowania typowe jak i nietypowe. Przedstawiono sposób opisu zgromadzonych materiałów meta danymi. Zaprezentowano schemat użycia repozytorium w dedykowanej platformie programistycznej.
Representation of magnetic hysteresis in tape wound core using Preisach's theory

W referacie przedstawiono model matematyczny histerezy magnetycznej w ujęciu klasycznej teorii Preisacha. Dokonano implementacji skalarnego modelu Preisacha w odniesieniu do rdzenia zwijanego z taśmy typu ET114-27. Do symulacji różnych stanów magnetycznych rdzenia wykorzystano jedynie dane z pomiarów głównej pętli histerezy. Wyznaczono funkcję Everetta i funkcję dystrybucji Preisacha badanego rdzenia. Uzyskano ogólnie dobrą zgodność wyników symulacji z wynikami pomiarów.
Research on GNSS satellite navigation systems

The paper presents a results and analysis of research of the quality of service requirements (defined by the QoS attributes) for imaging data transmission services using Radio System for Monitoring and Acquisition of Data from Traffic Enforcement Cameras (in short RSMAD). The paper also presents and discusses results of test on the impact of the size of photos from traffic enforcement cameras on the average transmission time. These tests were conducted under conditions of actual operation of the RSMAD system. Basing on the obtained results, an analysis of the capacity, to provide in the RSMAD system required quality of service by different wireless data transmission systems, was performed.

W artykule przedstawiono układową realizację konwertera z systemu resztowego do systemu binarnego bazującego na funkcji jądra. Zastosowanie funkcji jądra powoduje zmniejszenie wymagań sprzętowych przy realizacji konwertera. W publikacji omówiono problem dektekcji znaku oraz realizacje ukłądową konwertera w środowisku FPGA.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań odporności na zimne pękanie złączy spawanych ze stali przeznaczonej do pracy pod ciśnieniem. Badano równoczesny wpływ zawartości wodoru dyfundującego i energii liniowej na naprężenie krytyczne w próbie implant dla złączy spawanych elektrodami otulonymi i drutem proszkowym w osłonie gazów ochronnych. Stwierdzono wpływ energii liniowej jak i zawartości wodoru dyfundującego na odporność na zimne pękanie wyrażone naprężeniem krytycznym i wskaźnikiem skłonności do takiego pękania. Dla badanych zakresów energii liniowej i zawartości wodoru stwierdzono częściową skłonność do zimnego pękania złączy spawanych
Resolving conflicts in object tracking for automatic detection of events in video

An algorithm for resolving conflicts in tracking of moving objects is presented. The proposed approach utilizes predicted states calculated by Kalman filters for estimation of trackers position, then it uses color and texture descriptors in order to match moving objects with trackers. Problematic situations, such as splitting objects, are addressed. Test results are presented and discussed. The algorithm may be used in the system for automatic detection of security threats.
Response of high voltage disconnector under seismic excitation - experimental and numerical study

The efficiency of the energetic infrastructure system is a very import safety issue in the region experienced by the ground motion. The aim of the present paper is to show the results of the experimental and numerical study focused on the earthquake-induced response of the high voltage disconnector, which is an important element of energetic network. First, the impact tests as well as the sweep-sine shaking table tests were conducted. Based on the results of experiments, the dynamic properties of the disconnector were determined. Then, the detailed nonlinear numerical analysis was carried out under the NS component of the El Centro earthquake of 1940 using the finite element method. The results of the study show that the base frame as well as connections between the columns and the base frame are the most critical locations, in which the highest levels of stress have been observed.

Bezpromienisty transfer energii i jej pułapkowanie jest analizowane dla rodaminy S domieszkowanej w foliach PVA. Z analizy wynika że fluoryzujące dimery rodaminy S grają rolę niedoskonałych pułapek energii wzbudzenia. Dla najwyższych koncentracji barwnika wyniki doświadczalne wydajności kwantowej i anizotropii emisji nie mogą być wyjaśnione przy pomocy modelu pomijającego transfer powrotny energii do monomerów. Uwzględnienie transferu powrotnego energii daje dobrą zgodność obliczeń z wynikami danych doświadczalnych. Bazując na tych obliczeniach można oszacować wybrane parametry charakteryzujące dimery rodaminy S w matrycach PVA. Pomiary wykonano zarówno w temperaturze pokojowej jak i w temperaturze podwyższonej.

Review of Diameter protocol implementations for realization of communication in NGN networks

In the paper Diameter protocol as well as its applications in the context of Next Generation Network (NGN) are described. Diameter message content and Attribute-Value Pairs (AVPs) concept are presented. Critical review of open source Diameter implementations is carried out. The performed analysis takes into consideration programming language, availability, support and documentation aspects. Basing on the review project fulfilling the most criterions is selected. Some communication test results with that implementation are described. Additionally, remarks regarding application of the chosen implementation to realization of communication in NGN architecture are presented.

Modyfikacje kationu i anionu pozwalają na dostosowanie ich właściwości do aktualnych potrzeb. Rozpuszczają one szerokie spektrum związków organicznych i nieorganicznych związków. Mogą zatem z powodzeniem zastąpić dotychczas stosowane tradycyjne rozpuszczalniki. Znajdują zastosowanie jako medium reakcyjne, w procesach separacji i procesach biotechnologicznych
Review of the determination of modern used pesticides in water samples

The increasingly widespread application of pesticides causes that larger amounts of them are entering the environment. Their presence in sources of drinking water, essential to life, is a particular danger. For these reasons it is important to monitor and analyse pesticide residues in the environment. The analysis of environmental samples for the presence of pesticides is very difficult. Firstly, the processes involved in sample preparation are labour-intensive, time-consuming and may be a source of additional contaminations and errors. Secondly, the low concentration level of analytes and matrix complexity cause many problems as well. That is why a special analytical procedure is required in this respect, one that enables a large number of compounds to be determined in a single analytical run. In the case of determination of pesticides, compounds have to be isolated from a complex matrix and then preconcentrated prior to the final determination. This kind of analyses are recommended by the European Union. That is why studies are going on into the improvement of existing techniques and the development of new ones, which would enable pesticides from different chemical classes to be reliably and reproducibly determined at the same time in a quick, simple, cheap, effective and environmentally friendly manner. This review examines the most commonly used techniques for extracting and determining modern used pesticides, and discusses the analytical problems arising at each stage of the analytical procedure.
Revitalized Mill Island in Bydgoszcz - the identity of the place created by the Brda River and its tributary named Młynowka

Mill Island in Bydgoszcz, Poland is an example of downtown public space where a meander of the Młynówka creates the identity of the area.Before 2005, the only outstanding local feature was the fact that its south and west ends resembled the Venetian canals. The way the other parts of Mill Island were managed was inappropriate for a downtown.A comprehensive revitalization programme is returning Mill Island public space to residents, highlighting its historical and cultural value as well as its aesthetic, recreational, touristic and environmental quality. Three newly built pedestrian bridges enable downtown cultural services to be integrated with the high recreational potential of the island. The most important is the one leading to the Opera Theatre Square.The regional touristic value of the site is determined by the location of the Antwerp-Kaliningrad water route. The revitalization of Bydgoszcz Water Junction, which forms a part of this trail, has become a significant step in the implementation of the Downtown Spatial Development Programme of Bydgoszcz city. The process of re-orientation of the city centre towards the river will finish with the construction of a marina.
Rewaloryzacja wnętrza modernistycznego i soc-modernistycznego w Gdyni

Staranne opracowanie reprezentacyjnych wnętrz obiektów użyteczności publicznej, handlowych czy kamienic było w okresie międzywojennym ważnym zadaniem każdego szanującego swoją sztukę architekta. Oprócz ciekawego i funkcjonalnego rozwiązania układu oraz współgrającego wystroju plastycznego na etapie projektu, autor zazwyczaj dbał o doprowadzenie realizacji swojego zamysłu do ostatniego detalu. Dopiero całość rozwiązania estetycznego dawała kompletny obraz autorskiego dzieła architektonicznego. Składało się na nie oprócz aranżacji przestrzennej, doboru kolorystyki, wyprawy czy okładziny ścian i posadzek, także stolarka, wystrój klatek schodowych, oświetlenie i szereg nierzadko wyjątkowych detali.
